Murmur is an educational project raising awareness about pollinating insects and urban biodiversity. The Beehive is made for the green roof of the Bolzan Trade Fair. The project aims to educate about the importance of green roofs and green spaces in urban centres by giving shelter to honey and solitary bees, demonstrating that coexistence in a single hive is possible.

90% of plants rely on pollinators, but their decline threatens biodiversity. Factors include habitat loss, pollution, urbanization, monocultures, pesticides, climate change, and invasive species. The goal of this project is to promote green areas as interconnected ecosystems. The inclusive beehive showcases coexistence of different bee types.

The design of the hive take inspiration from the Dadant hive modified to limit capacity and Varroa parasite impact. While the structure is made of spruce wood with wool insulation and cork roof for rain runoff. Basement includes local materials as shelters for solitary bees.
